  • About Peter Bauer

    Peter Bauer is the help desk director for the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP), the largest graphics association of its kind. He is an Adobe Certified Expert in both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. A computer graphics consultant, he writes a weekly column for the graphics portal PlanetPhotoshop.com and is a contributing editor for Photoshop User and Mac Design magazines. He is also a member of the instructor Dream Team for Photoshop World. Pete is the author of Special Edition Using Adobe Illustrator 10, Sams Teach Yourself Adobe Illustrator 10 in 24 Hours (with Mordy Golding), Special Edition Using Adobe Illustrator 9, and a contributing author for Photoshop 6 Web Magic. He has also served as technical editor on a number of computer graphics books. Pete writes software documentation and does software testing for a variety of Photoshop- and Illustrator-related products. Pete and his wife, Professor Mary Ellen O'Connell of the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, live in the historic German Village area of Columbus, Ohio. Jeff Foster is an artist/musician of 30 years, and is currently working out of his Fullerton, California studio. His production studio has been a beta site for such companies as Apple Computer, Adobe Systems, Inc., Ultimatte, Pixar, and MetaCreations, and has played an integral part in their product developments over the years. Jeff has been in the forefront of illustrative art and computer graphic design, creating images and animations for clients such as Sanyo, McDonnell Douglas, FOX Television, Universal Studios, and Disney. He has also co-developed multimedia programs for the California Department of Labor and the Grand Central Art Center in Santa Ana, CA. He has taught, lectured, and developed computer graphics and multimedia programs at several Southern California colleges. Jeff appears regularly as a member of the instructor Dream Team at Photoshop World and has also been a featured speaker at Macworld. Jeff's publications include Animation Magazine and Publish magazine, and Photoshop Web Magic 2 and Photoshop 6 Web Magic.
