During a varied career, Patrick Gooch has worked as a marketing professional for international companies, run a government-inspired trade council, and lectured at The Central School of Art and Design in London. He set up the organisation Foods from Spain on behalf of the Spanish government, the success of which resulted in the award of Commander of the Order of Civil Merit by King Juan Carlos.
