He has published 108 documents indexed by Scopus and has authored or edited numerous books by Academic Press, Pearson, Prentice-Hall and Cengage. Rashid is listed among the top 2% of scientists in a 2018 global list compiled by Stanford University and in the top 1% of the 87,611 scientists in his field of electronics and electrical engineering in the study. He is an IEEE Life Fellow and a fellow of IET.
