Best taught chemistry for twenty-four years at Mr. San Antonio College. He has been a collaborator and co-author with Morris Hein since the first edition of Introduction to General, Organic, and Biochemistry. Scott Pattison lives in Muncie, Indiana, and is a dedicated teacher of general, organic, and biochemistry at Ball State University. He has been co-author with Morris Hein since the third edition of Introduction to General, Organic, and Biochemistry. Susan Arena currently teaches general chemistry and is director of the Merit Program for Emerging Scholars at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
