This edition, based on the text of the "Oxford illustrated history of Britain", has been updated with a final chapter by Kenneth O. Morgan on the 20th century. Besides maps, the work also contains, genealogies of monarchs and a table of Prime Ministers. Kenneth O.Morgan is also the author of: "Consensus and disunity: the Lloyd George coalition government, 1918-22" and "Labour people: leaders and lieutenants, Hardie to Kinnock".
