About Karina Law

Authors and series editors Barry and Anita Scholes are among Collins foremost authors having written the highly acclaimed series English Alive and Collins Primary English. Both these series are renowned for providing texts that children are known to love and enjoy. Author of Year 5 and Year 6 material, John McIlwain is a former Headmaster and published author of a number of titles on the subject of word and sentence work. John has been Series Editor of Collins Grammar Rules and Editor of Collins Shorter School Dictionary. Author of the Starter, Year 1 and Year 2 material, Karina Law is a fully qualified primary school teacher with wide experience in teaching the Framework. Karina brings to the series recent experience of how children respond to teaching in the classroom as well as great knowledge of chidlren's books.
