About Julie Le Clerc

Julie Le Clerc is a chef, food writer, stylist, teacher and consultant, and the author of six best-selling cookbooks, Simple CafE Food, More Simple CafE Food, Vineyards of New Zealand Cookbook, Little CafE Cakes (shortlisted for two international awards), Simple Deli Food, cafE@home and feast@home. She is also co-author of the beautiful travel cookbook, Made in Morocco. She has a strong presence in the print media, was the food editor of Sunday Life Magazine in Australia, and is now the food editor for Viva (NZ Herald). Julie is also a staff writer for Cuisine. Julie Le Clerc has had an eventful culinary career as a chef that includes boutique catering, establishing and operating several successful cafEs, and cooking in private homes in Europe.
