A collection of 15 walks covering scenic walking country in the Lake District. Where possible the walks are circular, starting from a car park, and vary from short strolls to longer hikes. Each walk is graded according to distance and difficulty and is supported by step-by-step route instructions. A brief history of the Lake District National Park is given in the introduction, with advice on clothing, map reading, public rights of way and the Country Code.
