Summary
On the eve of his wedding, handsome Tamlin is stolen away by the Fairy Queen into the cruel, enchanted land of the Fairies where the ground runs red with blood. Tamlin's brave love, Janet, determines to win him back - but first she must find him. Then she must never let him go, come what may.

Author: Geraldine McCaugrean is an established author for all age groups. Geraldine has been awarded many prizes for her writing, including the Whitbread Children's Book Award for A Little Lower than the Angels, the Library Associateion Carnegie Medal and the Guardian Award for a Pack of Lies. Geraldine has also published a number of retellings of traditional stories. Geraldine has a young daughter. She was awarded the Blue Peter Book Award for her retelling of 'A Pilgrim's Progress'.
Illustrator: Jason Cockcroft went to art college in Cornwall and drew his inspiration for the illustrations in the Little Sea Horse, his first published work, from the beautiful Cornish landscapes.
