A Macabre Miscellany Summary

A Macabre Miscellany by Geof Abbott

1,000 THINGS TO MAKE YOU GO 'URGH, THAT'S HORRIBLE...' A compendium of carnage; a treasure chest of fortune and terror; A Macabre Miscellany is the very best of the very worst things that can happen to a person. Sometimes historical, sometimes hysterical, frequently terminal, these are the most fabulously unpleasant facts that you could hope to encounter. Be they executions or accidents, assassinations or injuries added to insult, these nasty nuggets are guaranteed to raise a shiver of disgusted delight.

About Geof Abbott

Geoffrey Abbott is an authority on all things macabre and gruesome. He became a Yeoman Warder (beefeater) in 1947 and took up residence in the Tower of London. In the name of research he has been locked in jail cells, stood on execution chamber trap-doors and has even had the hangman's noose placed around his own neck!
