The triumphs and failures of the club are recorded and portraits of the leading characters drawn such as John Clay, Dai Davies and Wilf Wooller. The account deals with the last 100 years and is published on the occasion of the club's centenary. The text is accompanied by scorecards of the great matches, a full statistical section, as well as many photographs. The co-author, Tony Lewis, captained the club and led them to victory in the second championship in 1969.
