He has also published a story particular to Auckland called Puhi-huia and Ponga. He is also the author of 6 books called The Maui Series, which were published during the 1970s and 1980s, recently re-released by Reed. Peter?s distinctive artistic style is loved by adults and children alike, and his retelling of old and interesting myths is done is such a way that they are easily accessible to readers of many ages.
