Bücher von Pamela Dalton
Pamela Dalton has spent more than twenty-five years working in the technique of Scherenschnitte ('scissor cuts'), which has its roots in sixteenth-century Germany and Switzerland, and was brought to the United States by Pennsylvania Dutch settlers in the eighteenth century. Each of her illustrations is cut from one continuous piece of paper. Pamela Dalton s designs are influenced by popular historical themes: patriotism, biblical and religious motifs, and scenes from rural life. She lives some 120 miles north of New York City, in Harlemville, NY. Her home and studio overlook a biodynamic farm/school community. Visit Pamela Dalton at www.pameladaltonpapercutting.com.
