Vaughan Kent-Payne retired from the British Army in 2013 after 36 years in the Infantry. During this time he served on operations in Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Kosovo, Sierra Leone, DR Congo and Iraq and on Defence Engagement tours of Kuwait, Nigeria, Palestine and Liberia. He was an instructor at Sandhurst when the original book was produced. After leaving the Army, he spent 18 months with the Royal British Legion, running the charity in the North West, before taking over as Director of The Sandhurst Trust. He is the author of Bosnia Warrior: Living on The Front Line. Dr Christopher Pugsley is a former Senior Lecturer in War Studies at the Royal Military Academy. He is regarded as one of New Zealand's pre-eminent military historians. He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, an Adjunct Professor of the University of Canterbury, a Distinguished Alumni of the University of Waikato, and a Vice-President of the Western Front Association. He was appointed an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit (ONZM) for service as a military historian in 2015. Angela Holdsworth is an experienced television producer, author and editor who worked for twenty years for the BBC. As executive producer for Channel 4 her many programmes include Green and Pleasant Land a history of the British countryside, and drama documentaries such as The People's Duchess. She is the editor of Bryanston: Reflections and A Portrait of Lincoln's Inn.
