Evelyn H Lauder is founder of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and, through the Foundation, has raised more than $120 million for breast cancer research. She was instrumental in the conception of the "pink ribbon" logo and campaign. In addition to her work for breast cancer, she is also Senior Corporate Vice-President of The Estee Lauder Companies Inc. The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) was founded in 1993. It provides funding for innovative clinical and genetic research into breast cancer at leading medical centres around the world. Through research and the promotion of breast health awareness, the Foundation aims to prevent and find a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime.
