Bob Wilson is the author and illustrator of the much-loved and best-selling Stanley Bagshaw books, which have been shortlisted for many awards, including the Kurt Maschler Award, the Kate Greenaway Prize and the CBF Children's Book of the Year. He has written and illustrated many other books, and has also been a singer/songwriter and a lecturer. He even designed and built his own house! He gives talks in schools, theatres and libraries to both children and adults, and he has run writing and illustration courses at various literary festivals. (But he is not the ex-Arsenal goalkeeper.) He lives in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.
