Pages are moderately tanned with noticeable foxing throughout. Mild cracking to gutters with slight insect damage to pastedowns, endpapers, and bottom edge of some pages. Text is not affected. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have heavy edge wear with corner bumping. Large splits to front joint causing spine to be loose. Leather peeling with minor loss to edges, corners, and spine. Heavy water staining to all surfaces. Book has a slight forward lean.
