Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing, mild to end-papers and text-block edges. Front end paper torn out, leaving damage to paste down and a heavily foxed half title page. Half title is also slightly detached at the top. Plates are bright and clear. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering has become dull. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains.
