Flora the Fairy Zusammenfassung

Flora the Fairy: Green Banana Tony Bradman

A delightful fairy story about a little girl discovering friendship in the most unexpected of places from Tony Bradman for Egmont's green banana series.

Flora the fairy loves going to visit Nana and Grandpop. But she is scared of their cat Rufus. He stares at her and silently follows her around. When Rufus has to stay outside because of her, Flora feels bad. What is she going to do? Luckily Nana and Grandpop have a plan to show Flora that Rufus only wants to be friends - with the help of a little fairy magic!

Perfect for kids who are overcoming early fears.

Green bananas are divided into short, simple stories to develop reading techniques over a number of sessions. They are suitable for NC Level 1 readers. Green Bananas are carefully designed with education in mind, supporting children's understanding of how to read longer books. Green bananas only use one clause in each sentence and rely on dialogue and speech bubbles to encourage reading aloud.

Über Tony Bradman

Tony Bradman Tony Bradman was born in 1954 (not during the Jurassic era as his kids have been known to claim!). He went to Malcolm Primary School for Boys, where he played a lot of sport, and Cambridge University... where he did very little at all! After University, he worked in the music press, then became deputy editor of Parents magazine, and soon began reviewing children's books. He started to write his own books for children in 1985 and is probably best known for the popular Dilly the Dinosaur stories. Having sold more than 2 million books worldwide, Tony Bradman has been published in North America, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and several European countries (amongst others). Tony currently lives in South London with his long-suffering wife Sally. He has three large, expensive children who love making fun of him! Emma Carlow Emma Carlow lives in London with her husband and son. She wrote and illustrated Kitty Princess with Trevor Dickinson as well as working on the Flora the Fairy Bananas with Tony Bradman.
