The Kiss Zusammenfassung

The Kiss Sophia Nash

Georgiana Wilde has been in love with Quinn Fortesque for as long as she can remember. Unfortunately, he seems to harbor no feelings for her other than friendship. When he leaves England with a bride, Georgiana puts aside her girlhood obsession by marrying their best friend, Quinn's reckless cousin, the Marquis of Ellesmere. But, fate has different plans for Georgiana. Suddenly, a compassionate dowager duchess and her ladies club - secretly renamed the Barely Bereaving Beauties-emerge to help her realize a long lost dream of love. Quinn Fortesque is a man of obvious intellect yet hidden longings.Orphaned as a child, with little fortune, he uses his wits to make his way in life and soon learns a closed, impenetrable facade is the best way to face the harsh realities of a disastrous marriage and the intrigues of a diplomatic career. Soon he is incapable of trust yet longing for something he cannot name, something that has eluded him his entire life. When he's offered a second chance at enduring love he must choose between a siren's call or open his heart to the lady standing behind the veil of friendship ...a true bride for all seasons.

The Kiss Bewertungen

"Sophia Nash's latest Regency is a dazzling combination of subtly complex characters, simmering sensuality and writing that gleams with sharp wit." -- Chicago Tribune

Über Sophia Nash

Sophia Nash was born in Switzerland and raised in France and the United States, but says her heart resides in Regency England. Her ancestor, an infamous French admiral who traded epic cannon fire with the British Royal Navy, is surely turning in his grave. Before pursuing her long-held dream of writing, Sophia was an award-winning television producer for a CBS affiliate, a congressional speechwriter, and a nonprofit CEO. She lives in the Washington, D.C., suburbs with her husband and two children. Sophia's novels have won twelve national awards, including the prestigious RITA(R) Award, and two spots on Booklist's "Top Ten Romances of the Year."
