Über Root Phyllis

Phyllis Root's numerous children's books include "One Duck Stuck" and "Big Mama Makes the World". She teaches a writing class, and loves to read, camp and sail in her spare time. She lives in a 100-year-old house in Minnesota, USA, with her family. Axel Scheffler was born and brought up in Hamburg. He studied history of art at Hamburg University and, later, visual communication at Bath Academy of Art. He is the illustrator of "You're a Hero, Daley B!", the bestselling "The Gruffalo", and its sequel "The Gruffalo's Child".
