A deluxe interactive workbook for songwriters, featuring approximately 70 spreads on which to compose 70 songs. The book is a sturdy hardcover (no jacket) with a lay-flat binding for use on music stands and flat surfaces. Also includes printed chord stickers to make the songwriting process easier and more legible, plus a removable poster that shows approximately 48 of the most popular chords for reference.

Über Matthew Teacher

Matthew Teacher, a graduate of Berklee College of Music, is the author of The Musician's Notebook, The Lyricist's Notebook, and A Speech Giver's Notebook. He is the owner of Sine Studios in Philadelphia.

There is no table of contents. The book includes an Introduction describing how to use the book and offering general songwriting tips. The rest of the book consists of 70 spreads on which the user composes music (full notation and/or tablature chords) and lyrics. Each spread includes a different quotation from a famous musician as inspiration.
