Jess the Border collie owes his life to his owner Jenny Miles, and he'd do anything for her. They're the best of friends and, together, they're ready for all sorts of adventures!

Jenny and Jess get involved in a fundraising event to fight Carrie's leukaemia. They organise a party for Carrie at which Jenny's dad, Fraser, and Ellen, the housekeeper, grow closer. Carrie undergoes a transplant operation. Amidst their worry about Carrie, Jenny and Jess are delighted to play prime roles in the wedding of Ellen and Fraser.
