Keitaro (main character) has had great difficulty getting into the university of his choice and no luck meeting women. In a desperate effort to go into seclusion and study for entry exams, he volunteers to take over running his grandmother's hotel. His plans are ruined when he discovers that the "hotel" is actually an all-girls dormitory. The good news is, Naru can no longer pick on Keitaro for having flunked the college entrance exams three times in a row. The bad news is, she flunked it too! Now Naru just wants to get away from it all and relax by herself in beautiful Kyoto. As fate (or bad luck) would have it, that's the exact same place that Keitaro decides to vacation at.
