A marked growth in awareness and provision of counselling has been matched by dramatic developments in counselling training provisions at all levels. This work looks at the increasing demand for discussion, research, evaluation and the guidelines needed to support these growth areas. Personal development is a key issue in the training and future professional practice is seen as a core element along with skills training and theoretical studies.
