Lady Sarah and the Dung-cart Knight Gerald Morris

Ever since her mother and guardian were murdered, thirteen-year-old Sarah has been on a quest for revenge. It leads to her accompanying Sir Gawain and Squire Terence on a remarkable journey to rescue King Arthur's kidnapped queen and, as the plot thickens, she learns more about herself and the true consequences of vengeance. This witty and memorable sixth novel in the Squire's Tales series is another tangled web of intrigue, mystery knights and heart-pounding adventure.

Lady Sarah and the Dung-cart Knight Bewertungen

Morris deftly blends bloody clashes of arms and mysterious enchantments with the many flavours of romance, generously seasoned with wry humour and a dash of unexpected pathos. Kirkus Review These books are very, very funny! I kept wanting to read the best bits out to my mum. Lucy Howlett, aged 11, Red House Book Club reviewer.

Über Gerald Morris

Gerald Morris has written six titles in the highly-acclaimed The Squire's Tales series. In addition to writing he also serves as pastor of a church and teaches theology. As a child, Morris read voraciously, but mostly bad Western novels. Years later, when he discovered the ancient tales of King Arthur and realized what a good thing he had been missing all those years, he decided to retell those stories for the next generation. Gerald lives in Wisconsin, USA with his wife and three children.
