Aimed at early years practitioners, this title shows how creating models using a variety of recycled materials can provide a focus for learning across the early years curriculum. The activities included all require readily-available materials such as cardboard boxes and fabric scraps. The activities are divided into six chapters with each one covering one of the Government's Areas of Learning for under-fives - these are: Language and Literacy; Mathematics; Personal and Social Development; Knowledge and Understanding of the World; Physical Development and Creative Development.
