ALAN CLARKE is a part-time tutor for the Open University, UK, and Associate Director at the National Institute for Adult Continuing Education. He is currently assisting with developing the curriculum for ICT as a Skill for Life, and is the author of many publications including IT Skills for Successful Study (Palgrave Macmillan, 2005).
