Welcome to the Monkey House: A Collection of Short Works Résumé

Welcome to the Monkey House: A Collection of Short Works Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.

1969. First UK Edition. 298 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Laminated boards. Book has been rebound by library, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Front free endpaper has been removed. Mild cracking to front hinge. Half title page slightly loose to top. Binding throughout remains firm with all pages attached. Pages are lightly tanned with noticeable foxing throughout. More pronounced to text block edges, endpapers, and pastedowns. Visible brown staining to pages, more pronounced to some sections. Text is affected, however it remains legible. Red ink marks to front pastedown, with library stamp and pen inscription to copyright page. Faint water staining to top text block edge with two black pen lines. Book has a notable forward lean. Boards have moderate edge wear with corner bumping. Visible tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Minor tearing to edges causing lamination to come away. Visible black markings with scratches overall.
