Every position is different and so levels of experience required will depend on the individual job specifications. However, we do offer a number of roles which simply require a good work ethic as we can provide on-the-job training to help you grow and develop within the business.

Can I apply for a job if I was unsuccessful in the past?

Of course. Just because you may not have been right for one job, we will be happy to consider you for another. We do have restrictions on those who have worked at the company previously, although each case is considered in isolation.

Where will I be based?

World of Books has an office and warehouse located in Goring-by-Sea, West Sussex as well as another warehouse in Coventry that opened in 2018. Our roles include both warehouse and office-based positions. Please check the job specification for more information.

What are the standard working hours?

Once again, a great deal will depend on which position you apply for. Our warehouse operatives currently work across a double shift, with morning or evening shifts available. Working hours will be advertised clearly with the job description.
