Lucy Rycroft writes Christian parenting blog Desertmum (lucyrycroft.com) and is the author of 'Redeeming Advent' (Gilead, 2019). Formerly a teacher and PGCE lecturer, she now divides her time between writing and raising her blended family of birth and adopted children. Lucy lives with her family in York. Chris Ledger worked as a counsellor, supervisor and trainer in the NHS, and now has a private practice. She enjoys speaking at Christian meetings and is a regular tutor on CWR's 'Insight' days, also co-authoring several books in the 'Insight' series. At Greyfriar's Church, Reading, she is a licensed lay minister, and in her spare time enjoys having fun with her five grandchildren.
