Paul Leighton is professor of criminology and criminal justice at Eastern Michigan University. He has written several books, including Punishment for Sale: Private Prisons, Big Business, and the Incarceration Binge. Jeanne Flavin is associate professor of sociology at Fordham University. She is the author of Our Bodies, Our Crimes: The Policing of Women's Reproduction in America.
