We’ve launched our very own independent charity, The Wob Foundation! 100% of donations raised by the charity go directly to causes that support literacy and the circular economy. The Wob Foundation supports initiatives across the world.
Initial funding was generously donated by our investors and advisers, but now the Wob Foundation operates on a voluntary basis and secures donations from our customers and employees so that all financial contributions raised go straight to chosen charities.
The Foundation supports charities that work with disadvantaged groups who find it hard to access books in places like schools, prisons, youth clubs, libraries, women’s refuges and asylum centres, as well as those who support creative writing in these settings. For charities that support the circular economy, the Wob Foundation will focus on donations to tangible and measurable programmes that evidently improve the environment.
