Library dewy code to spine, along with expected ink and embossed stamps, inserts and inscriptions throughout. Pages are moderately tanned with noticeable foxing throughout. Cracks to guttering, exposing netting. Binding remains firm. Label remnants to endpapers and rear pastedown. Embossed library stamp throughout. Small tears and creases to text block edges. Thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have visible edge wear with corner bumping. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Fraying, with small area of loss to spine edges. Noticeable white marks and scratches, with water drops to all surfaces. Book is slightly forward leaning and bowed.
