1889. No dust jacket. Illustrated cream card cover with 10 loose colour plates within. Paper cover included. Ribbon tie is missing from outer binding. Plates have visible tanning and foxing with slight edge wear and bending to the corners. Heavier foxing to the pastedowns of boards. Small stamp to bottom left corner of front pastedown. Boards have moderate rubbing and handling marks. Noticeable edge wear and bumping to corners. Soft crushing to spine ends and fraying of cloth to the spine. Pen and pencil inscriptions to front board. Water spots to lower edge of rear board.
