1898. Sixth Edition. 560 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth. Contains colour folded maps. Plate stuck to front pastedown. Pages are moderately tanned with mild foxing throughout. Heavier tanning to endpapers and pastedowns. Cracks to hinges, exposing netting. Cracks to guttering, causing pages to become loose. Folded maps are moderately tanned with noticeable tears and creases. Occasional dog-eared corners. Some annotations and thumb-marking throughout. Boards have heavy edge wear with corner bumping. Visible sunning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Fraying to spine edges. Marks and scratches to both boards.
