Simon Perkins joins World of Books Group as Chief Operating Officer on 2nd March 2020.
Over the last decade World of Books Group has grown from a start-up into a leading global re-commerce business, comprised of World of Books, Ziffit and Shopiago. With compound annual growth of 20% for the last three years, and ambitious international expansion plans, the Group welcomes Perkins’ wealth of experience and entrepreneurial approach to growing businesses.
Simon has over 17 years of experience in the energy industry - co-founding renewable energy company Tonik in 2015 - and a background in other markets including insurance and property services; specialising in Operations, Change, Sales, Strategy and People Management.
As Chief Operating Officer, Simon will be supporting the operational side of the business; focused on the Group vision, to be the leading seller of used books globally, while helping people to reuse and recycle for less through innovation and technology.
