Table of Contents

This book discusses the critical acclaim Bruce has attracted since the beginning of his recording career, and the way his albums have reflected deeply felt passions and concerns, from the state of the American working man in The River and Nebraska, to the highs and lows of personal relationships in Tunnel of Love; from the bleak visions in Darkness on the Edge of Town to the often unrecognised anger of Born in the U.S.A.
