Nicola Davies is a zoologist and has produced and presented radio and TV programmes, including The Really Wild Show. She is the award-winning author of many successful titles for Walker Books, including the Nature Storybooks Ice Bear and White Owl, Barn Owl, non-fiction titles Poo, Gaia Warriors and the novel Home (shortlisted for the Branford Boase Award).
