This book is just what I wanted a snood for every day, whether it's spring summer autumn or winter there is a snood suitable.
The instructions look so easy to follow and the photograph showing the finished snood are great.
My only problem now is trying to choose which one I want my mum to knit for me!
There is one I've see that I am even going to attempt myself and I'm not a great knitter but the instructions make it sound easy to knit, I will write a new review once I have finished it.

I like how the book starts with knitting know how, it just makes sure you touch on the basics of what the book covers before you get started. I love how it gives you the list of yarns and tensions so you know exactly what was used which helps replicate the pattern a bit more. A handy abbreviation guide is also inside the book so you don't have to go somewhere else like another book or the internet to source what the abrreviation means. Everything you need to know to complete the patterns is in the book. It is a nice compact knitting book. The patterns all vary so much, there are different yarns used and styles. My aunty and me found it fairly easy to go through. There are some easier patterns and some harder ones, some of the yarn would have to be sourced online unless you have a well stock haberdashery nearby. I can't wait for winter and the chance to wear one!

The humble snood is a perfect cross between a scarf and a hat and is ideal when you're not really sure what the weather is going to do! This lovely book contains a rnage of snood projects that can be worn all year round, the designs range from chunky colourful brights, to lighter lace and fantastic fair isle.

Part of the Twenty To Make Series, this compact book contains an incredible 20 snoods in different styles and yarns to knit. There are designs for all seasons and snoods are perfect to wrap around your neck, or cover your head. The easy to follow patterns are quick to make. Each pattern is shown with a large pic and at least one other pic, and also charts where necessary. The designs cover everything from stocking stitch with a picot edge, to charted fair-isle designs and lacy ones too. There are two designs that are knitted with just one ball making them inexpensive projects. Some are knitted on circular needles and others on two needles. There are designs that could be knitted by beginners and plenty for those who love colour work too. Leaf, Minty and Heather are my favourites.

This is a really good book and excellent value for money (20 patterns for under a fiver! Can't go wrong).
All the snoods inside are really attractive and quick to knit. The patterns are well explained with clear, coloured pictures. All the abbreviations and stitches are explained at the back of the book. There are snoods for every season including light lacy snoods for spring and summer.
Unlike most knitting magazines and books, this isn't too big so doesn't take up too much space in my collection. highly recommended.

This is a lovely book and very good value for money with 20 patterns to make very varied snoods. Each snood has a photograph and very easy to read instructions, size of needles required and quantity of wool, together with tension information and size of finished product. There are some really lovely snoods to knit in this book for all abilities. I'm struggling to decide which to knit first, although I hope to give all of them a go.

Another lovely book from the twenty to make collection.
The patterns range from really easy for beginners to the slightly more difficult for more advanced knitters. Patterns include stocking stitch, fair Isle, cable to lace. Some snoods are knitted on straight needles whilst some are knitted in the round on a circular needle.
Patterns range from 2ply, 4ply, DK and aran weight yarns. The book explains the difference between the different yarns andthier tension and how to sew up the end product.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone even if you're a beginner as there will be some patterns you could do and then further your skills with the other ones.

Another wonderful book in the 20 to make series! Monica Russell has compiled 20 knitted snood patterns, some for the beginners and some a little more advanced...all beautiful. Easy to follow instructions and a section to explain any jargon. Each project can be made up quickly and make lovely gifts if you can't bear to part to with them! I can highly recommend this book as it has fabulous content with easy to understand instructions, handbag size and where else can you buy 20 knitting patterns for under GBP5. Treat yourself.
