This dictionary aims to explain clearly and simply the terminology and concepts used in the mathematical field. It covers the terms used by A level students and undergraduates and the vocabulary has been selected on the basis of its use in A level and undergraduate syllabi. It can be used as a quick reference or for a more detailed study of specific areas, since the material has been arranged in a thematic grouping to allow the student to build up a full understanding of many different areas. In addition, colour artwork is used to clarify mathematical theorums and concepts.
