About Jonathan Swift

Jonathan Swift (1667-1745) is regarded as the foremost prose satirist in the English language. Martin Jenkins is a conservation biologist by trade and has written numerous children's books about the natural world. His book about penguins, Emperor's Egg, won the Times Educational Supplement Information Book Award. Chris Riddell is an award-winning author, illustrator and political cartoonist for The Observer. He has won the Kate Greenaway Medal twice, once for Gulliver's Travel's, and the Smarties Prize. He lives in Brighton.
