About Garry Kilworth

Garry Kilworth was born in York into a military family. He spent 17 years in the RAF before embarking on a dual career, as a writer and working for an international telecommunications firm. He is the author of some fifty novels - including the acclaimed children's books The Drowners, Drummer Boy, Hunter's Moon and Attica. He has won the British Science Fiction Award and the World Fantasy Award and was longlisted for the Booker Prize and shortlisted twice for the Carnegie Medal.
