Computer technology, the latest satellite mapping data, including US military map references, and special digital models have been used to create the 60 large-scale maps in this Eyewitness view of the world. The physical features of each region, and the oceans, are highlighted. Each map also conveys up-to-date political, social and cultural detail, as well as showing key buildings, transportation systems, flora and fauna.
