The Protocol has been written by the Law Society's Family Law Committee with the active support and close involvement of the Lord Chancellor's Department, the Solicitors' Family Law Association and the Legal Services Commission. Consultation was also undertaken to ensure that the views of practitioners and other interested parties were taken into account.
