Dr Steven Bratman is a physician whose practice integrates the best of conventional and alternative medicine. He believes that alternative medicine has both strengths and weaknesses, just like conventional medicine. This even-handed critique has made him a trusted party on both sides of the debate. In 1997, Dr. Bratman instituted and supervised the research program that led to the creation of The Natural Pharmacist Database. He has written ten books on the subject including 'The Alternative Medicine Sourcebook', 'Health Food Junkies', and numerous titles in The Natural Pharmacist series. He is also co-author of 'The Natural Pharmacist: Drug-Herb-Vitamin Interactions Bible'.
