Juanita Phillips toiled for three years on the Courier-Mail in in Australia, writing and being yelled at by crusty, chain-smoking sub-editors. She then travelled overseas and wrote for international magazimes. On her return to Australia she moved to television as a current affairs reporter and newspreader before presenting the news on Foxtel. She has since moved to CNN and is now resident in London.
