Books by Jacqueline Vincent-Priya

After 15 years carrying out market research, Dr Vincent went to Malaysia, decided there to carry out a market research closer to her heart, and started talking to traditional midwives, which became the basis of her first book 'Birth without doctors'. She set up the Birth Traditions Survival Bank, a computerised database of birth traditions worldwide. She then moved to Yemen, where she wrote her second book 'Birth Traditions and Modern Prgnancy Care'. She now lives in India where she works with Village Health Workers in the rural villages around Auroville. She is visiting fellow at the University of Central Lancashire, UK, with whom she keeps a regular contact and who support her in various ways with her work.
