Books by Elizabeth Beacon
All her life Elizabeth Beacon has been looking for a career that can make use of her passion for history and storytelling and at last she has found it. An illicit love of reading Georgette Heyer's wonderful Regency romances during science lessons did nothing at all for her school career.Despite that, she surprised herself by taking honours in English literature as a mature student and loved every minute, especially a creative writing course that gave her hope that one day she just might just be able to write a book. It took a long time and a lot of persistence, but now she's happily pounding away at her keyboard and meeting all sorts of characters who constantly surprise her.In the past, Elizabeth has helped run the family garden centre, taught even more reluctant students than she was herself and worked as an office administrator. She is often distracted by the wonderful views of the English West Country from her study window and is thinking of turning her desk around, but can't quite bear to lose such an inspiring sight after too many years in an office! The British Regency period is so diverse and fascinating that researching it is a joy rather than a task for Elizabeth. And creating feisty heroines and gorgeous, charismatic heroes of that time has to be a labour of love so Elizabeth has yet to venture beyond that period. One day she's hoping to find a new world to occasionally set her stories in, and she hopes her readers will join her on that journey, but for now she is more than happy to keep creating handsome bucks and alluring English beauties whom she hopes will fascinate and entertain her readers in true Regency style.
