Prize plate stuck to front paste down. Pen inscription to front free endpaper. White paint mark to bottom corner of text block edge and rear board. Rough-cut pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Brown stains to some pages. Text is remains readable. Noticeable cracking to gutters causing pages to be loose. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Boards are slightly bowed. Book has a slight forward lean. Visible tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened to spine. Water staining to front.
